CEDAR SHINGLE PANELS
FinishedWood.Com features the Cedar Valley Shingle Panel system. Offering up to 50-year warranties when prefinished, these shingle panels are made with high quality, QAI Gold Standard Premium grade shingles on an easy to install, 8-foot long panel. These panels meet the highest standards of the International Code Council, Florida Building Code and the Texas Department of Insurance.
Standard panels are 1-Course and available in the following styles:
Even-Butt Panel
These panels are eight-feet long and available in 7 1/8”, 5 1/3” and 4 ¼” exposures.
Staggered-Butt Panel
These panels are eight-feet long and available in 7 1/8”, 5 1/3” and 4 ¼” exposures.
Open Keyway Panel
These panels are eight-feet long and offered in even or staggered-butt panels in 7 1/8”, 5 1/3” and 4 ¼” exposures. These shingle are spaced to leave a minimal gap, accentuating the common shingle look.
Thick-Butt Panel
These panels are eight-feet long and butt ends are ½” thick for a more durable shingle and deeper shadow line. Thick-Butt panels come in 7 1/8” and 5.33” exposures. Thick-Butt panels are to finished with a primer paint combination that carries a 50-year warranty!
Corners
Premade corner accessories offer a Boston Weave design look without the tedious work. Choose from flush, wide or flared corner sets. Premade column wrap is also available.
HANDY PACKS
Shingle panel Handy Packs are a great choice for the quick remodel project. Packs include starter strip, 10 panels that cover 25 square feet (7 ½” exposure), instruction and nails. FinishedWood.Com will finish the panels and nails. Both even and staggered-butt are available. Fancy cut shingles (fishscale, hexagon, octagon, etc) are also available!
WARRANTIES
Cedar Valley offers a standard 15-year warranty on all its panels, but it is the prefinishing aspect that is key. Panels that are finished with semi-tarnsparent, semi-solid and solid stains reach a 25-year warranty. Using a primer and latex paint combination on standard panels yields a 35-year warranty and the Thick-Butt Panels with the same combination get a 50-year warranty.
